Reopening Guidelines – Donation Door

For the safety of our staff and customers we are going to be accepting and sorting donations outside only.

Donations are accepted Tues – Sat from 9:30 – 12:30. These days and hours will now be weather permitting going forward. We apologize for the inconvenience of this and appreciate your understanding.

We will only be accepting 2 bags/boxes per household a week.

If you have a special request or circumstance, please call Heidi (860) 364-5202 for arrangements.

Here is our plan to best keep our customers and staff safe:

Everyone entering building is required to be wearing a mask or face covering while the state mandate is still in effect

Please practice social distancing as best as possible by using the tape on the floor as a basic guideline

All fitting rooms are closed

BARGAIN BARN CLOSED UNDER STATE ORDER ON COVID-19

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) | Jefferson County, CO

Governor Lamont signed his ninth executive order pursuant to his emergency declaration, taking further actions to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in Connecticut.

This one: Directs all non-essential businesses and not-for profit entities in Connecticut to prohibit all in-person functions effective Monday, March 23, 2020 at 8:00 p.m.

The Bargain Barn in Sharon is now CLOSED until further notice. Stay safe everyone.

IN SEARCH OF A RESPONSIBLE AND MOTIVATED PERSON TO WORK DONATION DOOR.

TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY 9:30 – 12:30.

20 HOURS A WEEK (longer hours available)

MUST HAVE own transportation to work

INVOLVES PHYSICAL LABOR, MUST BE ABLE LIFT UP TO 50 LBS and move donations as they come in

MUST BE ABLE TO ASSESS the potential value of items. Some experience with vintage or thrifting is a plus but not necessarily required with the right candidate
